Central Location but Inadequately Furnished apartment and Unprofessional and Rude Owner Positive: The location was convenient to most of central Strasbourg and within walking distance of both the main train station and the Cathedral. There is also a shopping center next door. Negative: The hostess was rude and sent a few videos on how to access the place. The directions were confusing and then the entrance to the apartment is difficult to find especially if you do not know Strasbourg well. Entering the building was also confusing with trying to locate the key symbol and knowing to press not only the code but also the key symbol again. The apartment itself was difficult to find as the apartments had small numbers and names next to the doors. The apartment itself was inadequate- air conditioning did not work: the bed was hard as a rock and the only place to plug in your phone and computer was next to the kitchen stove. There were also only two bar chairs to sit on and no hand soap in the bathroom. There are many more suitable options for the price iin a beautiful city like Strasbourg.

Nice clean room in a great location and good price Positive: The location is a short walk from the main train station. There are many restaurants, cafes and grocery stores in the area. It is adjacent to a large mall with shopping and restaurants inside. There is a canal out in front, and a tram stop as well. The bed is large and comfortable. There is a large window facing the city. The AC is available. The refrigerator works well and is large. The kitchenette has numerous plates, silverware and untensils. The bathroom is large and well lit. The shower has high pressure. The washing machine was easy to use and worked great. There is a large drying rack that folds out. The entry is easy and well explained. The wifi is strong throughout. Negative: I had to look for a bit for the key lock boxes. They are past the mail boxes, just beyond the elevators. The lights turn off in the hallways if no movement is detected. The sensor is away from the door. I had to open the front door in the dark and walk a few steps before the light turned on. The AC made noise but was very low in power. I kept it off and just opened the window at night, which worked great until the sun rose just after 5am. Other than 2 bar stools, there is only the bed to sit down. There were 3 hangers but no closet or bar to hang them from. I just hung them off the convenient coat hooks near the front door. These are just minor things i had to get used to.

Convenient location with lift and easy access to train station and historic centre Positive: The apartment is just across a bridge from the historic centre in a very nice neighborhood. The train station is an easy, flat walk away and there is a supermarket around the corner from the building. The bathroom is a generous size for a small studio apartment, with a large shower recess and excellent, steady hot water. There is a handy small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and cooktop, as well as a selection of crockery, cutlery, utensils and pots and pans. The apartment is on the third floor of a large residential building. There is a lift and step-free access to the building so it is very easy to get luggage to and from the apartment. Excellent wifi. Clear instructions from the host regarding checking in and recommended restaurants etc. Negative: It was unusually hot in Strasbourg for May for the whole of my stay (32-34C). The apartment is on the eastern side of the building and gets very hot in the mornings after the sun rises. (However it is cool in the afternoons). The air conditioning helped, but the mornings were still very hot in the room.

studio calme, lumineux, très propre et idéalement situé près de la gare et du centre. Positive: Bon rapport qualité prix, très proche de la gare et du centre. Le studio est très calme même s’il est situé au centre commercial. Très lumineux et la propreté 10/10. Negative: Rien tout était parfait
